Track Rules
1. Practice Is Mandatory
2. If An Athlete Misses Practice 3 Times As "Unexcused", Then The Athlete May Be Dismissed From The Track Team
3. Detentions (Level 2), Suspensions (Level 3 & 4) Are Considered "Unexcused" Misses.....athletes Cannot Participate In Competitions Or Practices On The Days That They Are Issued A Level 2, 3 Or 4. These Missed Days Will Also Be Considered As "Unexcused" Misses.
4. Important – If You Do Not Want To Run, Do Not Come Out For Track. Track Is About Running & Conditioning!!!!!!!!!
5. If You Fail To Participate During Practice, You Will Be Asked To Correct The Problem. The Coaches Will Ask You Again A Second Time. If The Coaches Have To Ask A Third Time You Will Be Asked To Go Home. If You Refuse To Go Home All Rules At Ccs #133 Will Be Enforced And Your Behavior Will Be Considered Being Disrespectful To An Adult And A Level 2, Level 3 Or Level 4 May Be Given.
6. If You Complain While Conditioning, Again, 1 Warning, Then A Second, Then Sent Home.
7. Give The Coaches 100% All The Time.
8. If You Have To Miss Practice, Please Notify The Coaches (Or The Main Office) Before The Practice Begins.
9. During Meets, All Ccs #133 Rules Will Be Enforced.
10. If You Are Given A Level 2 At A Meet, You Will Not Participate In The Next Meet.
11. If Practice Is Canceled, You Will Be Notified As Soon As Possible.
12. Important - Coaches Are To Be Respected. It Does Not Matter If It Is A Teacher Or A Parent Or Just Someone Helping Out. Any Disrespect This Year Will Result In A Level 2, Level 3 Or A Level 4.
13. If You Are Not In The Field Events (Shot-put/discus), You Have No Business Trying To Throw Them. During A Meet, Field Events Are First. You Are Not Allowed To Get Into The Bag And Play With The Shot-put Or Discuss When Field Events Are Complete. If You Do......a Level 2 May Be Issued.
14. During Some Meets, Lunch Will Be Provided. Only One Lunch Per Person.
15. The Coaches Cannot Possibly List All The Rules That Students Are Expected To Follow. Good Behavior Is Expected At All Times.
16. Remember The Most Important Thing Is To Have Fun And Try To Do Your Best.
17. There Will Be Some Saturday Practices If Needed…..practices Are Subject To Change Depending On The Weather Or Other Factors.
18. If There Need To Be Special Practices Or If There Are Any Major Changes In Practice, The Coaches Will Try To Notify Everyone Involved With A Note And A One Call Now Message.
